Kindly note SKISA will host its annual INTERNATIONAL TEAM CHALLENGE for brown----black belts (purple/red belts can be included iun teams if necessary) on 6TH AUGUST 11 at the Durban university of technology.
Colour belts white-purple/red belts will be accommodated in an individual section similar divisions to KANAZAWA CUP just concluded
ALL SNR TEAMS 21YRS MALE MUST HVE 5 PLAYERS (2 RESERVES PERMITTED) FEMALE 3 PLAYERS (1 RESERVE ALLOWED)
ALL JNR TEAMS male/female 10-12YRS/13-15YRS/16-17YRS/18-20YRS ONLY 3 PLAYERS REQD (1 RES ALLOWED) for kata/kumite
MEMBERS OF THE TEAM CAN BE MOVED UP IN AGE CATEGORIES EG 15YR OLD CAN FIGHT FOR A 16-17YR TEAM OR 19YR OLD FIGHTER CAN BE PART OF A SNR TEAM 21YRS AND OVER (NO PLAYER IS ALLOWED TO FIGHT IN A LOWER AGE CATEGORY EG A 21 YR OLD CANT FIGHT FOR 18-20YR TEAM
As a matter of interest the event is being held in celebration of (my father) our founder Kyoshi Sonny Pillay's 60th birthday 7th aug to which you and your partner are invited as VIP guests
WKF rules will apply to individual sections and traditional rules for all team events
entry fees R150pp (regardless of team or individual entry every participant will pay an entry fee of R150 )
