Kyoshi Sonny Pillay South Africa's karate maestro was honored by the GOPIO world organisation at last weeks world convention
The International karate personality Master Pillay who previously successfully hosted the 8th SKIF world cup karate 2003 at the ICC in durban was presented a COMMENDATION AWARD by GOPIO INTERNATIONAL president Mahyendrah Utchanah for outstanding contribution made to the PREVIOUSLY DISADVANTAGED AND UNDERPRIVLEDGED communities of SOUTH AFRICA IN THE FIELD OF MARTIAL ARTS
On being conferred the award a very excited Kyoshi Pillay said that he accepted the AWARD on behalf of all the UNSUNG HEROES of the SPORTS STRUGGLE in South Africa
