Tongaat Businessman and Events co-ordinator Sharan Haricharan donated a cricket bat signed by Indian master batsmen Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Saurav Ganguly to the SKISA Trust to be auctioned at a fund raising dinner during the International Kanazawa Cup April 2012 Tournament
Craig Johnstone chairman of the trust heaped praise for Sharan, a patron of the SKISA Trust for his kind generosity.
Sharan challenged other memorabilia collectors to part with their collectors items to aid the Skisa Trust with its major goal to establish a state of the art, high performance centre and academy for sports excellence.
The academy and high performance centre will impact positively on YOUTH DEVLOPMENT in general said Sharan Haricharan.
Craig Johnstone further appealed to corporates and private business sector to assist the trust with donations in order for the trust to achieve its goals, one of which is to establish a high performance centre attached to an academy for sporting excellence in Kwazulu Natal.
